Love is an Action Verb

Figured out the other day that handing out these bookmarks with the verses listed was really useful for a (Wednesday evening) Bible study group...

Love is an Action Verb. "Love your neighbor as yourself" is not just about "feeling" love or compassion for others. And it is not about just "doing good deeds". "Faith without (love-)deeds is dead and useless" [James 2:14-20] ...because without genuine unselfish love in action, people cannot see our faith ...if such faith is even faith at all.

Advanced was in publication before I arrived at LifeWay eight years ago. Note that my announcement says "new content related to...", not that there is new content in the publications. Previously these two products only received a brief blurb in our online Curriculum Guide. As of today they get their own "spread," so to speak, so that each product is more prominently featured. We explain the history of the Hobbs volume and offer information on how to teach using the resources, something we had not provided before. We hope these new pages are helpful to teachers trying to decide if they need additional preparatory resources.
