If anyone was wondering about this picture, it is a black hole in the middle of the Whirlpool Galaxy, in the middle of the black hole is a cross. This is 30 to 40 million light years away from Earth. I got the pic from NASA and the info from Lou Giglio from 268generation.com

I want to send the emails that are on the CD to our class. But I am having a problem with the format of the banner at the top. The text portion of the email is centered properly but I can only view about 1/2 of the title banner when I try to open it. Can I get step by step instructions on how to get these emails attached so I can send them on M, W and F as suggested?

The pastor at my church, like many pastors, puts a 8.5 x 5.5 notes page in our bulletin for people to make notes on his sermons. He also three-hole punches them, and our church even has a little notebook that church members can purchase to keep track of sermon notes. I noticed this weekend that the Prayer Journal Pages are the same size. So, you might want to think about taking the extra step of three hole punching them so your class members can keep track of them, and see from week to week, month to month how God is answering prayers in your class!

I am praying for all of you as you teach this morning. I just talked to a teacher who doesn't have the pack,. He was wondering what to do about the map of locations in Mark (Pack Item 5). I suggested having class members locate a map in the back of their Bibles (many study Bibles have maps of Palestine/Israel during the time of Jesus, and some even have Jesus' ministry locations pinpointed). Have the class locate where Jesus was baptized and where he was tempted, and where Capernaum is on the map in their Bibles to support the lesson points.

Closure Idea:

I used the corporate logo idea w/ a teacher's group this past Wed. Many of the logo's have their names as a part. The names can be easily "whited out" using Publisher, Page Makers, or other programs. I enlarged so that each fit on a 81/2 x 11 sheet so that they could be displayed one at a time and discussed -- what is their procuct, what do they stand for, etc. Most of the logos are easily recognizable, and, one easily knows what they represent. To conclude I used the word Christian and distributed 6"x6" squares of mirrored poster board (can be purchased in the poster board section at Michael's or Hobby Lobby). Can others recognize Jesus through the image in the mirror as easily as they recognize the coporate logos? Do they know who Jesus is in your life?
