We use Hooked on Phonics for Reading, Spectrum by Alpha Omega for Math and Weaver Interlock for overall curriculum. I also use self designed thematic units such as dinosaurs or space based on his interest. By the way our son is in Kindergarten.

Our Curriculum Choice is definatly Child Driven! We use BJU for English and History, Abecka for Reading and Science.. Teaching Textbooks for Mathamatics.... Our handwritting is Southern Baptist Blue card Bible Drill verses and Our Bible Class Is Kay Arthurs series Discover 4 yourself. The BBC has free Typing. Learn To Be Healthy .org covers health class for all grades free We also have American Girls Book the Keeping and Care of You!! We use Brain Pops free site and I throw in a little classic Liturature reading every day ( Right Now its Anne of Greene Gables) and some of The Oxford American review... the later is way over her head and it has to be censored but it has so many great example's of Southern writing I just can't resist. Our Art class is often driven By reverend fun .com or Jan Brett... she does "how to draw" videos free online. Donna Young has supplements for every class and great book report forms and grade level information......and to supplement my mornings I use Revive our Hearts online radio program by Nancy Leigh Demoss... We have an Electric keyboard and Drum for music. There's even and elementary Spanish copy book and a sign language chart. We have even started reading through the glosseries of each of our books for vocabulary! I plan to add flash card of the twelve tribes ... the ten commandments and the periodic table after Christmas. 6th Grade has come together so well we never run out of things to be excited about!.... I can really see God's hand in our homeschool choices this year and how he would like to influence Our Idea's!
