Slumber party games

My daughter just turned 12. Last Friday night at her slumber party she and her 2 friends did the bell witch thing in front of the mirror.

Is it possible to invite satan into your home by her doing something like this? Thanks!

It is impossible for a follower of Christ who has asked Jesus to be his or her Lord and Savior to be possessed by Satan. If Christ is in you, Satan won't be. Can't be. As Paul says (Colossians 3:3), "You have died, and your life is hidden in Christ.

That doesn't mean a believer can't be oppressed by Satan. In the process of hiding yourself in Christ, you have also made yourself a target of the Enemy, and he is fighting to gain a foothold in your life. (Eph. 4:27). As believers we need to not give Satan an opportunity to influence us or lead us astray. He can't inhabit us, but he can lead us to put our trust in something other than Christ. I think I would reassure my daughter that she probably hasn't exposed your home to Satanic posession, but at the same time whatever the game was isn't something appropriate for a Christian or a Christian home. Philippians 4:8 and Ephesians 4:27-29 are both great passages to share with with her.
