Bible study proposal raises questions for parents

"A religious group wants to pull elementary students out of Sherwood schools for bible study, drawing concern from a group of parents who say the missed time could disrupt their own children's learning or allow religion to spill into the classroom. ... Parent concerns extend beyond instruction interruption. Tofte said she attended one of the religious meetings in the spring said was unhappy to see teachers encouraging students to invite their friends to upcoming sessions as well as providing treats for students."
